Growing Anxiety

Even if you had asked me before the war what I thought was the scariest sound, I would have said the air alarm.
In Ukrainian, the word anxiety has two meanings. Along with the feeling of fear, it literally means anxiety during a war. So basically, we call it air anxiety.
The abstract images are the reflection of the sense of fear and impending danger which I felt every time I heard it.
