ABOUT

Diana Fedoriaka is a visual artist from Ukraine. Born in 1999 in Vinnytsia, she studied acting before discovering her passion for photography. Fascinated by the power of the medium to transform the mundane into something meaningful and unique, Diana focuses on public and communal spaces, capturing people and objects with a sense of disturbing beauty.

In her practice, Diana explores internal experiences such as dreams and desire, using analog photography to examine the naked body and the individual's perception of it. She is also interested in representing the LGBTQI+ community and the dogma surrounding it and has worked as an actress in short films and as a director for music videos and documentary films.

Diana is a member of the MYPH Collective and the UWPO Union of Women Photographers. She has been developing her skills in film photography, working in a film lab, and spending time in the darkroom, where she finds a sense of meditation and connection with the process.
